The water in this basement caused mold to grow up the walls behind the washer and dryer. The mildewy wall was torn out of the home and disposed of.

The studs had mold on them but we don't remove studs as they are not in direct contact with the homeowner. Instead we disinfect as much as possible and seal it with a coating that keeps the mold from getting through. Normal paint is usually made from organic materials that the mold can feed off of over time.
