Bonus Room Damaged By Fire

This Slaughterville home in Oklahoma had a fire in the attic. The reason for the fire was unknown but possibly from some exposed wires.

The woodwork in the bonus room was damaged beyond repair. The wood also got hot from all the smoke causing the pores to expand and trap smoke and odor particles inside.

SERVPRO of Norman technicians removed all the wood from the walls which took some time. Next they removed the carpeting and burnt furniture. The place was entirely empty of anything that could still have smoke smell attached.

The last thing to do was deodorize the studs and flooring using an ozone machine.
